It was late at night and Caffè Dogali seemed to be the only place in the vicinity that was open, so we did a very touristy thing and asked them if they could call us a cab since we didn't know exactly where we were. They not only called the cab, but one of the employees hung out with us streetside and re called the taxi company a couple of times until they came to pick us up. If I'm ever back in Florence I'll go out of my way to find this place again this time for drinks and a meal I owe them one!

They make panini and delicious espresso. The interior is small, but so charming with dark wood and vintage gadgets. Make the trip for not only for the food, but for the venerable setting.
