If you like it when a restaurant serves your main course THIRTY MINUTES AFTER it serves your dinner partner's main course (this is not an exaggeration), all the... read more If you like it when a restaurant serves your main course THIRTY MINUTES AFTER it serves your dinner partner's main course (this is not an exaggeration), all the while telling you that your food will be there in a minute, then you will like Buddakan because, once the food arrives, it's pretty tasty. My wife and I didn't like it, however, because we came to the restaurant with idea of EATING DINNER TOGETHER, not one after another. Needless to say, we will not be back.

I am living in Thailand, so I am v... read more Advertises itself as a Thai restaurant, but it is run by Chinese and therefore attracts Chinese travelling in [large] groups. I am living in Thailand, so I am very familiar with Thai food. But this restaurant disappointed us 'big time '. Very blatant, not spicy and not resembling Thai food at all. Choice was also very, very limited. I would not recommend this restaurant if you are keen on Thai food. However, I cannot comment on the rest of the menu.

M... read more Me and my girlfriend walked into this place, the menu looked ok and we decided to order.. I had the Pad Thai which was no great experience, but a decent meal. My girlfriend had the skewered chicken, which was 9 small pieces of chicken and a little bit of fried vegetables.. No side dish, which we were not informed of.. There was what I assume was the family of the owners which had a dog in the restaurant barking every 5 minutes. The food didn't get to the table at the same time and the waiters were standing 3 meters away staring at us the whole time.. I have to give it 2 stars as the food wasn't terrible and they had 66 cl beer, which will cheer me up anytime! I won't go there again and won't ever encourage anyone else to go there!
