If after some time in Firenze you really need a break from traditional fare, this is a very solid option. It took me 3 weeks but I finally couldn't face another antipasto, primarily or secundi. This place is tucked to the side of Santa Croce and easy to miss but seek it out. The staff was lovely and the the space is comfortable. I indulged in Korean barbecue beef and it was lovely. If you like it when a restaurant serves your main course THIRTY MINUTES AFTER it serves your dinner partner's main course (this is not an exaggeration), all the while telling you that your food will be there in a minute, then you will like Buddakan because, once the food arrives, it's pretty tasty. After eating the Italian cuisine for a few days, my mother and were desperate for an alternative. Buddakan had good service and most importantly really nice food (from someone who was brought up with the Asian cuisine)
The restaurant tries to give itself a tone, but only partially succeeds. However, the dishes are good, served with care could be expected a little and by the honest price 10€ for the first, 15€ for the second, on average. the portions are not too generous, especially the second, but the kitchen is undoubtedly original and varied Thai, Chinese, Korean and Japanese .
Asian restaurant offering a series of Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai dishes. the preresonal is nice and kind, but the kitchen leaves a little to want. prices are still honest.
