A bald employee here acts as if he's the sole decision-maker in the establishment. He's extremely rude and bossy towards people. For small tips like 5 Euros, he can disregard reservations and push groups of 11 tourists to the front of the line. He has a completely arbitrary and dishonest management style. No one should be allowed to be treated this way.
Super cute place, we did the wine window which is a must!
We came to this place for dinner based on a Top Jaw recommendation. The food was good, but unfortunately, there was a rib bone in my ravioli. I guess the positive way to look at it is that the meat in the ravioli was fresh. So fresh that there was a bone in it. Otherwise, this was a nice spot.
Cute place! We went for an aperitivi around 4pm and enjoyed some wines and limoncello spritz!
Visiting my daughter who is studying abroad here and I was craving something different than local cuisine and this stir fry really hit the spot! Super cozy setting and food was amazing! Her friend got the chicken club and said it was !

Omg! This is the best cheesecake I have had in my life! The place is beautiful and the service is excellent. What a wonderful experience. The prawn pasta was one of the best meals I have had in Italy.
Very cute restaurant. I came for the wine window experience but it was closed upon arrival after 9. I decided to dine in and ordered an Aperol Spritz, shrimp pasta and cheese cake. Enjoyed my meal very much . The ambiance is a vibe, I’ll definitely return when in Florence.
Our first wine window experience was fun. The quality of the wine was exceptional and the orange wine was a lovely change to the norm. We did visit another wine window which was more central but the service and wine was nowhere near as good as here. Also, this gives you a chance to walk around a different part of Florence which is equally beautiful. We had sandwiches to mop up the wine, they were just ok. 10/10 for the wine window experience and 5/10 for the sandwiches
What a wonderful discovery! Original destination for drinks/apperitivi was closed. There was a crowd of people in the street with glasses of wine and spritzes in their hands, so I wandered in that direction. Turns out there is one of the wine windows at the place I discovered was called Babae. I sat inside waiting for friends to go to a lecture and left myself in the capable hands of the waitress to select an apperitivi (Il Vegetariano) for me to have with my glass of Vermentino. Delicious! And the Vermentino was very nice! The interiors are comfortable and eclectic, with various types of seating, located on the main floor and an adjacent raised (and more intimate) room. Later my friend and I returned (after the lecture) to have a bit of dinner, and though we had no reservation, they tucked into a spot next to the wine window. From there we were able to observe the operations from the inside and had a lovely chat with the server who attended to the ringing of the bell. Note this wine window has been in service since the plague of the 1300 's so it 's the real deal. For food and drink we selected the Spaghettini with gamberi and the house red. Once again, delicious and a nice portion (just the right amount of gamberi). The sauce was delicate and flavorful, and the wine excellent. The people working at Babae were helpful and generous with their time and suggestions, even though they were swamped with customers. We will probably go back. Babae is located close to the Arno and a lot of the lovely shops and sights in the area, just one street down from the Lungarno, between Via Serragli and Via Maggio. Also, just a short walk from the British Institute Library (my shameless plug for that wonderful institution). Enjoy!
Found this place after watching Stanley Tucci finding Italy because it still has a working window to order a drink while walking the streets of Florence! We ended up having breakfast, AMAZING FOOD! Plus super cute interior.

A chicca detached from traditional premises thanks to the commitment of a young group of boys. pleasant dishes, cared for and thought, served with courtesy. a call to history is given by the lovely wine box, available today for the ooo.
In good complex, the nice place, with an intimate atmosphere in the center of the plants, however the type of music and the volume of the same were more from the place than to drink from the restaurant and goes a little to skip that unique atmosphere that the room offers in furniture. then perhaps the unfortunate night with a lot of graduation party contributed to chaos. the food was good, especially the main dishes like spaghetti on the guitar, really good. however the cutting board to be reviewed, poor and rather expensive. overall a good place.
I was happy to have discovered this beautiful place. a very nice place where we had impeccable attention and tasted delicious and creative dishes. We will definitely come back!
Good aperitif. the friendliness of the waiters to praise! I asked where I could buy cigarettes, and they offered me one. Really an extra march!
Beautiful casual discovery, eat well-kept, non-banal dishes, of excellent quality at low prices. Great cocktails. aesthetics from bistro bar, brought by restaurant, always open kitchen (so thanks to the sky not the classic unbearable break for me that within 22 you must have already ordered senn so do not eat more relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, all very pleasant in short. we will definitely return
