I visited here with my family after my son decided this was going to be the best ice cream shop and refused to walk any further until he’d had his daily gelato. He wasn’t far wrong, he chose a banana ice cream which was being freshly churned on the premises. What travellistics doesn't like about Amalo Gelato E Passione:
Gelato is ok, as well as some refreshing frappes and beverages, but you can definitely find better places in Florence, there was only one barista and it took forever to get our order, and we were the only ones but they deliver so they have lots of orders like that. Pastries did not look so fresh. View all feedback.

We had ice teas and a peach and amaretto muffin which was again very nice. There was only one member of staff working however she was efficient and very polite and helpful.
Fewer choices but excellent quality and fair price. Near town center and a nice break from the crowds.
This place was listed as being in the top 10 gelato stops in Florence. We found it while exploring after stopping at the Duomo. They had quite a menu that included not only gelato but waffles, pancakes, and crepes! Also had grab and go drinks and fruit. Amazing flavors and the staff was very nice! Another perk was free WiFi!
The granitas (slushies) were a huge hit with the family, as were the crepes. I preferred the iced moccachino and muffins. Service was friendly if a little slow. The shady interior made it all the better to cool down from the Florence heat, which at this time was hotter than the sun , so we made repeat visits.
