The food and service were exceptionally good. Personally, there were a bit too many excessively well-heeled Ammersee residents there for me. But the restaurant can't help it! Service: 5 Location: 5

A pretty, beautifully and tastefully decorated country inn in an idyllic location. Checking in and out was very warm, the restaurant service was attentive and personal, and the cuisine was tasty. We really liked our spacious room with balcony. The guest rooms are extremely appealing to our taste. The only downside was a young woman at the breakfast service who, when I was surprised that there were no fried eggs, reprimanded me briskly that I was in a country inn and not in a luxury hotel. However, I have had delicious fried eggs for breakfast in many country inns. I found it particularly nice that the manager of the house immediately helped me to clear the snow and ice from my car, which was completely covered in snow. All the best n all in all a highly recommended house.

Contrary to the numerous gastronomy recommendations, light and shadow. About the ambience: Instead of sitting in a cozy room for four, we sat a bit lost in the modern breakfast room, but we weren't informed of this in advance. Setting up the tables that are now free or opening the veranda door on Saturday evening around 9:45 p.m. is a no-go as long as there are still guests in the room. To eat: onion roast is perfect. Pork cheeks ok. Kale too firm in consistency. Venison saddle meat perfect. The side dishes were too mushy and too creamy. Service was attentive and good.
