Banning Junction Cafe - Finlayson
Banning Junction Cafe
Description
**Banning Junction: A Mixed Bag on the Road**
Banning Junction presents itself as a convenient stop along the highway, offering food, fuel, and amenities for travelers. Patrons appreciate the extensive selection, including gas, snacks, and clean restrooms. While some dishes, like the creamy potato and ham soup and burgers, receive high praise, other offerings, such as the chicken wings, have fallen short of expectations. The atmosphere feels outdated, and service can vary from friendly to disorganized. Overall, it's a decent pit stop with potential for improvement, making it a practical choice for those journeying between Minneapolis and Duluth.

The food was great. I felt sorry for the bartender he had to watch the whole restaurant. Drinks and food
Everything about this place looks and feels dated. I've occasionally been stopping in about once a year for 20 years, usually when I forget to has up or when nature calls. Otherwise better options prevail.
Great French fries and they have a lovely spot in the back of the restaurant to watch birds at numerous feeders. Service was excellent! (I ordered soup which was simply okay, plus the chairs were uncomfortable that's why the four stars... Great prices and the granddaughter thought her Mac n cheese was the best!
