The reception closes at 5 and everyone leaves, if you reach after, you may not be able to check in as they don’t answer the phone. We called their phone number in the afternoon and were told it is okay if we arrive at 9pm. We did and no one was at the reception, and the hotel doors were locked. Lucky for us, they were celebrating a birthday party in the bar and they gave us the room key. The reception lady told us that had they not been around that evening, we would have had to spend the night outside. We were extremely lucky as we also had a baby with us.

Restaurant serving Austrian style dishes and dito music. The food was okay, but service not so. I received the wrong dish (which I only realized half way through, probably as a result of the restaurant not having updated the day menu) and the waiter seemed not to understand our dietary preferences. Also, we didn't receive the dessert that was part of the menu we ordered. As we had to wait long again for the bill, we walked to the cash register, where we were not handed the bill. After leaving the restaurant, we realized that we were probably overcharged. We did not go back for correction, but won't go back for another meal either.

Almost the meals in this restaurant are ugly, unhealthy and average quality. We take pizza diavola average. Spezzle was not a good pasta, with great amount of fat, with bad smell some cheese. The meal with any fresh smell or idea from the kitchen of the 21st. Century. It is bad that we only meet such cuisine in Austrian villages. We often use restaurant near motorways, where you can find a better kitchen then in the peak Austrian landscape.

Ate here on our first night in Finkenberg as it was close to our accommodation Adult courses fine pretty standard Cordon Bleu for 14 euros and a baked salmon dish for a little more My annoyance came when both our kids had the buffet simple and they could choose see what they were eating They were charged full price 19.50 euros each, for hotdogs, fries, salad and some fruit salad (they're 9 and 7 and by no means ate their fill nor an adult sized portion) I complained but to no avail Won't be rushing back
