The restaurant has a nice ambiance, but unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations. My wife ordered the Cajun pasta, which was excessively spicy (she tends to order this dish wherever she goes), and my prime rib was mostly fat; the parts I could cut were difficult to chew, even though it was cooked medium. The service also fell short, as we couldn't get any refills. The French onion soup lacked any flavor. I could go on, but the only positive note was that the deviled eggs were quite good! Overall, I would rate the food a 2, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 4.
I really enjoyed the food, and the waitress was excellent. However, I was disappointed with the Irish Car Bomb special ($6), which consisted of just 2 ounces of Guinness and a pre-mixed Irish cream shot. I was informed that this was the way the manager had instructed them to prepare that drink for the special, but honestly, it didn’t feel like a special; it was below average at best. I would have preferred either a refund or a regular version at the standard price. The burgers were outstanding! I really enjoyed the deviled eggs, and the calamari strips were amazing—tender with a perfect crispiness. The restaurant is quite spacious with plenty of seating available. Although it started to get busy around 6:00 PM, the service remained excellent. It was a Tuesday night, and they had a music trivia event starting at 7 PM, making it a fantastic spot for a fun gathering with friends!
