I ate here after my flight was delayed. It’s basically the only restaurant in the terminal with more than burgers or carry-out/fast food. While the menu was the typical TGIF menu, they were serving good with a plastic knife and plastic fork. The napkin was paper. Cocktail napkins! My drink was served in a plastic cup. We always have great food at TGIFs. Everything is delicious and promptly served.
No food at this location, which I was neither looking for nor wanted. But when I asked the bartender for a menu, he exclaimed as if I was an idiot “we don’t have a kitchen!” Cool guy, I don’t go to TGI Fridays for the sub-par food (which I REALLY wish I had said). Asked for a beer or cocktail menu. Nope. If you have no signature cocktails (which I also didn’t want) or kitchen, what exactly makes you a TGI Fridays?? Just call yourself a random bar and save yourself (and everyone else) the hassle.
I never been to a TGI Friday's that didn't have a kitchen. If you go to the Pittsburgh Int Airport Friday's,it's literally just a bar. Nothing against a bar, but maybe rename the place?
At the time of this review, this location does not serve food. Drinks only. Maybe the problem is that today is Thursday.
