Amazing food, amazing service, amazing knowledgeable staff with an amazing atmosphere. Could not recommend enough! We were treated like family. We cannot wait for our next trip so we can get back to Barbares as it’s become our favourite restaurant in Figeac. We have discovered a gem! The food, wine and drinks are 5 star quality without the price tag. You are seriously missing out if you don’t give this outstanding memorable place a try!

Essentially a wine bar, with some great wines to try, but also sells beer from a local brasserie. I haven’t tried the beer so can’t judge, but the Malbec is excellent. Eric and Alain so welcoming and « cool », talk about « laid-back » they are terrific and serve a good platter of charcuterie too. They sometimes have ‘live’ music for the evening; starts around 20h00 to 22h30 latest. Really worth a visit.
Superb selection of wines and plates of charcuterie and cheese are successful, only from the local. In summer, you can attend the many concerts. Ambiance guaranteed.
A good place! We went to Barbares once, then the next day and the next day... Finally, all our evenings during our stay in Figeac ended there. Beyond a very pleasant setting, the staff is adorable and the products offered are well HYPER. In short, it is an immutable address if you are looking for a little corner of paradise to drink a drink and eat in this beautiful city!
