F... read more Flat steak was good, steak pie not great at all there was one big lump of meat that was strung with fat, pastry was not pastry is was flat and like cardboard. Flat pint of lager, on returning it to the bar was informed, sorry they had been busy and the glasses were not dried, seriously!! Won't be back there and was told it is being sold, doesn't matter to me.

While specializing in seafood, they also have a variety of traditional dishes such as homemade Steak and Ale pie, Roast Chicken Breast, and fresh homemade soup. All accompaniments are made fresh on the premises, from their Tartar sauce to their traditional Italian Pesto, pepper sauce, and Guacamole. I highly recommend visiting The Haven Bar and Restaurant in Cellardyke as the quality and taste of their dishes, from fish to steak, receives a perfect ten from me.

The ambiance was lovely, with the restaurant located beside the bar on the first floor overlooking the harbor and the sea. The food was delicious, well-presented, and reasonably priced, although it should be noted that heating pastry in a microwave can make it soggy (we had quiche the first night and apple strudel the second). The staff were friendly and attentive, even on a busy Sunday night. We highly recommend this restaurant.
