Nestled in a quaint, family-owned spot, this friendly café is beloved for hearty, affordable plates — oversized breakfasts, burgers, fried cabbage, Wednesday chicken & dumplings, hushpuppies and fresh bread. Staff are welcoming, service stays attentive even when busy, and accessibility plus vegetarian and kids’ options make it family-friendly. Drawbacks include rising prices and uneven food quality lately: wrong substitutions, occasional undercooked or over-onioned items, and sporadic menu availability. Still, many patrons return for large portions, reasonable prices, and warm hometown hospitality.

This is the place to go for a huge breakfast, Mega Breakfast. The pancakes themselves are a meal. They serve breakfast all day long. Food is very good. Large portions. Very reasonable. Staff is super nice and attentive. Off the beaten path, but we’ll worth going. We will be back!
