It is a great place without the most personalized service because of its size, but the waiters are all friendly. A previous 1 star review complained about “disposed cats”. If you read this and thought it was a strange opinion coming from a vegan, we did. Anyway, the staff seems to have replied: the one cat we saw, the waiter chased friendlyly away. The wedges and plate we were both beautiful, but they seemed overpriced compared to our meal at Veggie Place (and prices in Morocco in general) the day before around the corner where we paid 100 for more foods of similar quality in a totally veggie place. So we would recommend trying Veggie Place first.
They highlight all veg and vegan options on the menu. The food is delicious. Sit on the roof.
Pretty cafe/restaurant after busy Medina time to wind. You can sit inside (two floors) or on the roof (cats included). vegan food marked on the menu. good coffee and tea.
Ate here for lunch and ordered the ‘Fez Moroccan tapas plate’ which is one of vegan (V V) options on the menu. It was nice: tasty and plenty for 1 person. I was particularly impressed by the service. They were attentive, on point and prompt which is often rare in Morocco.
This restaurant in Fez is one of the first I would recommend after being in the city for a few days. The food is delicious and the waiters are friendly. While Fez may not offer many vegan options, this restaurant has enough variety to try something new a few times. It may not be the most sanitary place, but that seems to be the norm in the area. Embrace it and focus on the fact that your plates will be clean. Overall, it is definitely worth a try!
