What User doesn't like about Fezlounge:
The decor in this place is what stops me from giving it a 2 star review. The place has been decked out in a modern affair with black tiles and some modern music playing obviously appealing to the more younger crowd. This place had a sign for it on Rue Talaa Kabiera which leads down a small alleyway to the location. The food was disappointing as they didn't have the couscous with chicken. The Medina can be a hectic, and sometimes, uprightly aggressive place. Therefore it is good to know that in the heart of it FezLounge, a quiet and real corner of the souk, with some of the best classic dishes we had in Morroco. We had lamb couscous and chicken tagine. Both were excellent, with lamb that was full of taste and fell from the bone, and chicken flavored in a traditional way. The service was excellent, and we were made to feel welcome without it being transferred or wrong. If you are trying to prepare authentic Moroccan dishes with care and without the hatred and dampness that too often accompanies tourist restaurants in the souk, head here.
A very nice and quiet place to relax in the hectic medina of Fès. Excellent Moroccan cuisine paired with really friendly service
Best food we are in Morocco. Run by a lovely welcoming Barcelonian Lady who has lived long in Fez. Don't listen to the criminal boys on the corner who tell you she is closed. She has refused to pay them commissions and they are telling direct lies to tourists.
Amazing dishes prepared with love from the Catalan owner are amazing! Very tasty, fresh and a good price. Is hidden and quite. We were very lucky to find it.
