The coffee w... read more My fiancée and I had dinner tonight, and what an experience it was! The food was incredibly flavorful, with everything tasting fresh and delicious. The coffee was the best I've had since my trip to Pompeii 12 years ago—hot, strong, and rich. The meal was so good that we decided to cancel our reservations at Mother's Supper on the turnpike and booked a table at Thaal instead. We highly recommend this place! The staff was friendly and always smiling, and we never felt rushed, which is a nice change from some other restaurants.

After we were seated, it felt like we waited 10-15 minutes without anyone coming to take our food or drink orders. Eventually, we managed to catch someone's attention. It was disappointing, and I'm not sure if we’ll return. It was just an off day for them, I guess.

For my main, I had the lamb rogan josh, and it was delicious, made with fresh ingredients. The spice level was perfect for me, and I even asked the waiter to make it a bit hotter if needed. They also offered a variety of vegetarian options! I can't wait to come back!
