The pizza is good and thin-crust, with many options. I found it a bit pricey for drinks and cover, but if you want to treat yourself, the pizza is worth it.
We went there by chance, we had a very good dinner, very well prepared, even the pizzas are delicious
Pizzeria and also restaurant with a not very varied but essential menu with traditional dishes up to the task. Spacious environment with high ceilings that reduce the background noise of the chatter of those present. Recommended.
I found it by chance and it was a great discovery. The pizza was delicious, well cooked and with a lot of toppings. The staff was friendly and the place was welcoming and simple. Everything was perfect.

Had a calzone, the dough was half-raw and didn't even taste the best, the mozzarella didn't feel fresh or authentic, the pancetta was mediocre, the prices were very high for the sector, and the bathroom was indecently dirty. The glasses smelled like stillwater. They advertise their wood oven but the pizzas felt like the first try of a home cook in a kitchen oven. Avoid.
Every pizza in this restaurant has a name of philosopher, from ancient Greeks to modern Italian, passing through European modern classics. We liked the idea, but, giving the touristic character of the zone, we had some doubts about the food. But no: art of pizzamaking is fully respected in I Sofisti, the wooden oven is good, the size is huge, drinks fresh and cold... In one word, we have an excellent culinary experience, The prices of pizzas was fair but pasta?! Horrendously expensive, we don't know why?
We had a very nice lunch here food was excellent and service, though a little slow, was very nice. Staff was willing to work with our limited Italian and we really appreciated them. Had the most amazing calzoni and salad. Tried to go back, but although the website indicated they were open for dinner on Thursdays, they were not when we were there...
A nice restaurant with a large selection of pizza and some nice restaurant dishes. Nothing too sophisticated, but worth it.
We came here for lunch and sat outside. My sister ordered some cappettelli and I ordered a pizza, all seemed good. The cappettelli arrived after a fifteen minute wait, fine we had our drinks and the sunshine. Then nothing, my sister finished her lunch and still waited over 45 minutes and nothing. Gave up and left, our lunch ruined. Please bring the food together or warn your customers if there is a delay for pizza. Totally unacceptable.

For my tastes, this restaurant serves one of the best pizzas in Ferrara: large, very thin, crispy and well garnished with a huge variety of top-quality ingredients. It is a short walk from the medieval castle and, if the weather is fine, you can also sit outside. One advice: be prepared to get lost by the amount of pizzas, all of which is called after a philosopher
I went to this pizzeria a few nights ago with my family and I have to say that we had a great dinner. The restaurant is located in the center, inside it is wide with possibility to sit both inside and outside. I took a slap while my pizza family. the pizzas were really huge and thin and also the calzone was huge but really delicious. How sweet I got the sweet chocolate. exquisite! staff is friendly and helpful, fast service.
They didn’t let us sit at the table even though there were free seats because there were only two of us! shame!
