Mako's Fish And Chips - Ferntree Gully

This place couldn't get any better!! The staff are amazing! Super friendly make me feel welcome, the prices are set very well and the food is beyond amazing. Very flavoursome the lamb is one thing to get!! And the chips! Beautiful!! Can't get over how good this place is! The owner of the store is the man to talk to. Such an amazing guy friendly and dedicated to his business:

It's such a nice feeling to be told that everything on the menu, all of it is gluten free. Was even shown the ingredients list for their flour it appears that they bake their own burger buns. We had three deluxe burgers, min chips and potato cakes. Burgers are rustic and very filling, the 10 year old (for once) couldn't finish his. This is now our favourite fish and chip shop, Despite the 50 minute round trip to get there.

Grilled Flake was fresh, chips were a little dry but tasty. Potato cakes a little floppy but good flavor. I ordered a Corn Jack and got given a Seafood Stick. Disappointed with the persons lack of knowledge of the menu.
