Wendy's - Fernley
Wendy's
Description
Located at a truck stop, this Wendy’s offers generally good food with standout items like a flavorful marinated chicken sandwich and tasty chili. The restaurant is clean and can get quite busy; service is friendly and sometimes impressively fast, though waits occur and occasional order mistakes happen. Staff hospitality varies, with some customers noting inconsistent greetings and others praising the welcoming attitude. A few logistical issues such as missing lettuce and lack of online ordering affect convenience. Overall, it’s a decent stop for a quick, satisfying meal—just be sure to double-check your order before leaving.

Great they changed their system and don't accept flying j rewards anymore. It was the last time I fuelled up at this truck stop.
The restaurant is nice and new but they didn't have lettuce for the burgers and they are right next to a grocery store that sells lettuce a plenty. Frustrating. Also my burger had three times the amount of mayo, ketchup, and mustard for 4 other sandwiches
I went out to dinner with a friend, and I was really impressed by how quickly we were served. I ordered a meal and a sandwich, and by the time I made it to the drink machine, my food was already ready. The service was incredibly fast, even though the restaurant was quite busy. The grilled chicken sandwich was delicious as well; that sauce was fantastic!
Good but it would be nice if the description mentioned the sausage is spicy. Smoke comes in from the casino too.
I didn't dine at Wendy's; I went to Dairy Queen instead. The service was outstanding! The sole employee working, Tess, provided exceptional customer service despite being the only one on duty. She handled orders efficiently and prepared them promptly. I would give her 5 stars! However, I rated the overall experience 4 stars instead of 5 because of the staffing situation. A significant reason why businesses like Dairy Queen face high turnover and customer complaints is because employees are often overwhelmed, leading to unhappy customers. I recognize the importance of profit margins and such, but nowadays, those same employees can find higher-paying jobs with less stress.
