We stopped for lunch on a busy powder ski day. Rusty Edge was busy, we got a table right away, ordered quickly and the food came quickly as well. The soup Sandwich special was very good. Tomato soup was very thick and tasty and the grilled cheese sandwich was very good, thick French bread with a cheese combo all very filling. Service was fast and polite. The food is bad my daughter had wings they came burnt we returned them and the new ones burnt as well the burgers are terrible, the fries only good for the first few minutes then they go hard. Took FOREVER to get the bill. Very noisy and lots of uncontrolled children. I don't mind kids but running rampant. Also very expensive for the low quality. View all feedback.
We were in Fernie during the summer and ordered food to take away. Upon arrival, the place was very slow with very few customers. I was thinking uh-oh maybe the food isn't great. Wrong. The food exceeded all expectations. Came out promptly, hot and plentiful....Prices seemed on par with other pub style restaurants and it's a cut above in terms of flavour.
Was there for dinner on Friday. This was a mistake. Overpriced and very very mediocre food. Perhaps only at its best in peak season and for functions. Salads and chicken tenders are all miserable and portions small. Unfortunate when deep fried pickles are the highlight...of a meal. Stick to down town Fernie rather
Had lunch there twice during a ski trip to Fernie. Great food, great service, nice atmosphere. Beef dip was a little dry but all the other food we ordered was perfect.
Super friendly server and kitchen staff. I just wanted beer and chicken wing for a snack. asked for a taste not on the menu and kitchen was more than happy to make it! spicy honey garlauch! juicy plump wing also. so good with farie brewery bier! Great...choice in the menu must go back to try more!
