In the heart of Fernie, this Chinese restaurant garners mixed reviews. I found the food to be pretty bland and basic. Ordered the meal for two and it just felt so cheap for what we paid, like something that came from a microwaveable meal. I wouldn't order there again.
The people are fairly nice. Maybe we went on an off day. The food was good, but not the greatest. It just seemed sort of bland and lacking sauces. Very quite place however it was clean and tidy. With not many Chinese options I would go again.
Have got take-out two times in the last two months. Fantastic, good quality dishes, large portions and they have both times thrown in some extras free of charge (spring rolls or dessert cake). Ginger beef, the seafood dishes were very light and healthy. Nice to support a good local restaurant that serves good food. We will be ordering again. In particular the Dinner for Six was very good value.
Great choice! No MSG here, and the dishes don't taste overly salty like at other places. I ordered the beef black bean stir-fry, shrimp chow mein, and chicken fried rice. All the portions were generous and the food was delicious!
The food is outstanding, the kitchen is impeccably clean, and the owners are incredibly friendly. If you're in Fernie and have a craving for Chinese cuisine, be sure to check this place out!
