When your lift only runs 7 hours a day, you think you would want to feed your customers so they can get back out riding.

After I paid, he didn’t offer a “thank you” or wish us a nice day—he didn’t say a single word. Instead, as he walked away, he showed the receipt to another waitress and started discussing the tip within our sight. Given that his service wasn’t particularly exceptional, I tipped accordingly. It felt rude for him not to acknowledge us or to immediately discuss the receipt with a colleague right in front of us. Because of this experience, I won’t be returning.
