Freshies Cafe - Fernie

It was on the list as a bakery. It was not.I had a lovely tea though.Omg that tiny sink!For a place to stop when you just need a pick me up totally!

Great cafe! Their scones are the best I’ve ever had!

Will give this place a very good rating most because the sweet barista made a very good cappuccino! The outside area was also worth a sit down in the sun. Pastries are shop made and that is rare in these modern times. Ever passing through Fernie this is where you should get a cup of coffee and a sweet smile! In the center of town.

I ordered an oat milk latte and ended up with cow’s milk in it. The service was slow and not efficient. There should had been 2 people working and not only one..

I used to love Freshies back when I lived in Fernie in 2015 and 2016. Coming back to town, I figured I would give the new location a try. While the actual coffee might be good, I would not recommend the matcha latte. Paid $6 for a drink that was two thirds full, and basically flavoured milk. There was barely any matcha in it. I do like that they took Infinitea's concept and offer open mic nights and some boozy coffees and cocktails (since Infinitea permanently closed down), and they feature a cute local artist section of purchaseables.Five stars for friendliness of service.Five stars for environment and coziness whether you want to go in there and work on a laptop, or go in for a date/catch up.Three stars for snack offerings.One star for Matcha latte.
