I used to come here as a kid and always had fond memories. I thought I'd try it again tonight with my partner as being open after 20 odd years since I was here is a good sign these days. We both really liked it and it was a quiet night so the service was incredibly fast. The portions are big and the food is delicious. I highly recommend for a casual Chinese meal in or as take away. We tried the sizzling garlic beef,... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ko-Sing Chinese Restaurant:
Went for a family dinner here recently. Used to visit this restaurant quite often twenty years ago. I think it has changed ownership and kept the original name. Some of the old dishes have gone with some new ones added. Food was tasty, staff are attentive. What I don't like is that you can't have a jug of water, you have to buy overpriced bottled water. The old Ko-Sing was B.Y.O. you could even bring your own bottle... View all feedback.
A friend once said that all the dodgy Chinese places are the best and this is no exception. It has a bit of a weird location in Ferndale but we are lucky to have this local. The sweet and sour pork was top notch and I am already looking forward to going back.
Me and many of my friends visited this restaurant on saturday 31/10/15. <br/ <br/ All i can say is WOW... i didnt do the ordering, some of my friends did, some of the dishes i can remember was Honey king prawn, fried duck with plum sauce, spicy fried chicken, beef brisket claypot, pork belly , salt pepper squid. <br/ When all the dishes arrives on the table, we felt like all of them smells really good, and presented very well. We found that the taste was also very good. <br/ <br/ We ended up ordering a few more. The honey king prawn had very good taste with very crunchy prawn on the inside. We had to re order the dish 3 times as everyone couldnt get enough of it. The pork belly dish was delicious, its cooked very well. Very recomennded. <br/ The service at this restaurant is always good. Once your seated, within seconds, complimentary prawn crackers is provided. Hot tea will be given as well. When having your meal, staff are always very attentive such as to top up the hot water for the tea and providing free flow of steam rice. Staff are always easily called if you need anything. <br/ <br/ Will surely return to this restaurant. when we were there, the restaurant was pretty pack. Reservation are recommended. Parking for visitors are always very spacious.

We tried the sizzling garlic beef, kway teow, lemon chicken, special fried rice and a chef recommendation house dish (we ordered way too much and got the rest as take-away). Enjoyed all of the dishes especially the garlic beef and the kway teow. Give it a try I reckon.
