Kp's
Description
KP's restaurant received mixed reviews, with some praising the phenomenal food like Swahili wings and shrimp and grits, while others found it to be just a normal place. The ribeye sandwich and crab cake flounder were highlighted as amazing dishes, but some customers experienced poor quality compared to the past. The restaurant was noted for being quiet and out of the way with great service, although some mentioned being understaffed. Overall, it seems KP's offers a variety of tasty dishes at reasonable prices, making it a worthwhile visit for those who appreciate good food.

We visit KP's for lunch 4 to 5 times a week. Their daily specials are fantastic, and the variety on the regular menu is impressive. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The staff is friendly and eager to help. It's a bit off the main road, which is ideal for us locals and anyone else who's dined there. They also offer a selection of white and red wines, 4 draft beers, and over a dozen bottled beers. Once you go there, you'll be hooked. Just a heads-up: it can get quite busy on weekdays around 11:00 AM.
We appreciate restaurants that cater to the local community, and KP's certainly meets that expectation. The waitstaff were friendly and efficient, and our meals were both delicious and reasonably priced. I do think they could enhance their menu by adding an extra side dish with their entrées. It's a bit tricky to spot from the highway, but it's definitely worth the effort to locate it. We will definitely be returning.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. My waitress was rude, and the turkey club I ordered was extremely slimy and dripping wet. I requested two packets of mayo for our sandwiches and two ranch dressings for our fries three times, yet she only brought one ranch and three mayo packets. To make matters worse, I had to ask another staff member for a drink refill. The sandwich was so unappetizing that I ended up giving it to my dogs. My husband's Philly cheesesteak was also incorrect; it still had peppers even though he requested none. Additionally, there were no napkins or silverware at our table. In hindsight, I regret leaving a tip because she didn't deserve it. Overall, it was a waste of time and money. We were really looking forward to trying this place and were just incredibly disappointed.
