Was Anonym at Kove a mag?
We were staying at the hotel and decided to try the Kove restaurant, which is located within the hotel. We were absolutely not disappointed; it was quite busy and had a lovely atmosphere. The menu offered a fantastic selection, making it hard to choose from all the delicious options. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to all our needs. I noticed that many non-hotel guests come to dine at this restaurant... View all feedback.
What 435garthm dislikes about Kove:
As British customers dining at a restaurant in our own country, we experienced hostility towards us. While the breakfast was decent, it seemed as though they did not want British patrons in their establishment. It was disappointing to see the owners of two major businesses present to potentially set up local units, as it left us feeling unwelcome and made us reconsider investing in that particular place. The food at the restaurant was well prepared and delicious, but I wished there was more variety on the menu. I noticed that most of the other diners were older than me, around 50 years old. The prices were a bit high for my liking. I visited in February, so it was dark inside. I think the ambiance would be much nicer during the daytime when it's brighter outside.
We stayed at the hotel and decided to try the Kove restaurant which is part of the hotel. We definitely were not disappointed it was really busy lovely atmosphere. The menu was beautiful really had difficulty deciding what to choose there was so many lovely options. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and catered to our every need. I would say a lot of people not using the hotel come to this restaurant to eat and we will definitely be back.
Had a 4 course dinner here as part of our package The quality of the food was excellent and the portion size just right with a generous helping of vegetables
Thank you to all the staff who have made a sterling effort to continue their professional service through these exceptionally challenging times. We've eaten here 3 times during the past week of our holiday and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute and every meal. Perhaps those writing poor reviews recently should reflect on how difficult their own jobs have been over the last 5 months. Thanks again to all the staff who have gone out of their way to welcome us. Don't listen to the nay sayers book in, judge for yourselves and enjoy!

We had breakfast at the Kove restaurant during our stay and were impressed with the variety of cooked items, cereals, and fruits available. It's unlikely that you'll leave the table unsatisfied. However, we do have two reservations. The scrambled eggs were left in an open dish under hot lights, causing them to dry out quickly. It would be helpful to cover them to keep them fresher for longer. Additionally, the orange juice and grapefruit juice were heavily diluted, resembling slightly flavored water. This can easily be improved.

I dined at this restaurant with a family group of 10 to celebrate a 20th wedding anniversary. We were seated at two separate tables, which was not ideal for a family meal. We brought some champagne and had to ask multiple times for glasses, which were brought one by one by the server. It took 30 minutes to receive our drinks, and there was confusion between diet coke and regular coke. We also had difficulty ordering drinks and getting a wine list throughout the night as the staff said they were new and the drinks server was busy. We complained to the manager, who seemed dismissive and explained they had a system for drink orders. Some of our drinks never arrived, and we had to remind the manager to remove them from the bill. Despite the nice food and beautiful surroundings, the poor service has left a bad impression and we will not be returning.
We, (my parents, husband and baby), had a lovely meal here. The food was excellent, portions were perfect for fine dining. They catered very well for myself (gluten free). All the party had varied dishes and throughly enjoyed them. They source the best quality ingredients and as a result they taste amazing. My father had informed them it was a special occasion when booking, my birthday, they arrived with a Happy Birthday dessert platter. So generous. We weren't expecting it. The staff are very friendly but also professional at the same time. We felt very relaxed and never once rushed. Our little baby absolutely loved all the attention, the staff were incredibly helpful. We have had some bad dining experiences recently in some of the top ten restaurants on Trip Advisor and I feel its mainly down to covid, new staff turnovers, staff running around like headless chickens and rushing us out of the restaurant but thankfully it was not the case here. After dinner we went for a walk down to the jetty and watched the boats go by. A stunning view and spectacular place. A must visit!!!
We got to eat in the kove as part of our overnight stay at the kilkyhevlin. Our 4 course meal was outstanding. The menu is limited but the food is magnificent and caters for all. The staff are all friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend it. Last year we ate in the grill bar and it was also exceptional.

The setting is beautiful, and the food is consistently good. The staff is friendly and pleasant.
