Liked the option availanle for a sammy lunch. Sat at the back of the eatery by the window to people watch. I guess we came at the wrong time as all the staff kept repeating that they had just finished a "rush" and things were alittle hairy. My wife had the grilled veggies and goat cheese sammy. She always picks anything with goat cheese, and she was not disappointed this time. I went with a Plough men's sammy. Very good. Our problem was that I repeated to our servers that I would like ice in my water, three times. Two to many at any time. Also, the eatery was very hot during our time there. The food was great, the service was not.
My wife and I had a tasty, nutritious meal of a sandwich for her, and a salad for me. There are soups, salads, sandwiches and wrap offerings, gluten free or make your own options. Service was friendly and efficient! Don't forget to explore the fine health food store with a good selection of both food and non food items. The affable proprietor was engaging and helpful.This is the best example of what you would hope to find in a small business in a lovely village! I urge you to travel to Fergus to experience some good old fashion hospitality. Very Highly Recommended!

Owner Natalie made a smart choice to remodel, placing this awesome lunchtime restaurant in the back of her main health supplements store. Now called the Red Door, it conveniently has its own entrance off the alley. Always fresh, healthy & delicious meals. Not many restaurants in Fergus. This one is much appreciated.
The Red Door Cafe inside the health food store is fantastic. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or just regular fare. This place has it all. Beautiful ambiance, spacious and good service. The food is made to order, so expect to wait a reasonable time. The food is absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a place to sit and just enjoy company and good fare, this is it
