It's on the main drag. Very cozy feel and the people working there we're friendly and accomodating. Good coffee too! This is a really good choice. Right next to the ice cream place. View all feedback.
What Kirsten Eichmann doesn't like about The Lost and Found Cafe:
This place used to be great, as some of the other reviews and photos show. Unfortunately on my last trip to Elora this is no longer the case. I paid $18 for a tiny roast beef sandwich made with sparse cheap ingredients and processed sliced meat on a small wonder-bread hamburger bun (not like the photos), and a medium house coffee. The location is great, service is fast and food was passable which is why it gets 3/5,... View all feedback.
Nice little cafe with a wide assortment of coffees and teas, sandwiches, cookies, tarts, and other sweets. Super friendly. Gluten free breads. They asked if I was celiac, and would toast GF bread on parchment on the grill.
Being located in town, we feel fortunate to have such a great cafe nearby and we plan to frequent it often to enjoy all the delicious dishes. Do not pass up the opportunity to taste the culinary delights at Lost and Found Cafe – you will not be disappointed!
We visited The lost and Found Cafe last week, before a little walk along the Elora Gorge. Our group ordered 3 sandwiches: turkey, BLT and chickpea smash. I had the chickpea smash and tried a little of the BLT and I would like to say that the sandwiches were absolutely AMAZING!!!!! The BLT had a twist of a mayonnaise that I'd never tasted before.... I can't be sure, but it tasted a bit spicy/tangy, which was a really pleasant surprise. My order was a chickpea smash sandwich, and I really loved the minty flavour in the chickpea mix. I would definitely recommend stopping here for some food, before or after a little walk around the area.
The best breakfast cafe at Elora. Their sandwiches and bagels are so delicious. When you enter the restaurant, you feel like in Europe’s cafe.
We heard this cafe was tucked away in a plaza, and we found it easily. It was classy and eclectic. Unique decor. Busy, but service was smooth. Tea and baked goods were excellent. Outdoor seating was convenient and quaint.
