The best in Indiana! Amazing Flavor you don't even need the sauce on any of the meats. The side dishes (potato salad, cold slaw, pork n beans) add just the perfect combination to every meal. The real hit a home run when they put this restaurant together. If you want it quick call ahead because of the demand it may take a little bit if you just walk in but it is so worth the wait. The ribs fall from the bone and have the perfect amount of smoke. I don't know what they use, but it's phenomenal! The pulled pig and BBQ chicken get the same rating. Amazing!!! The Johanneman's are a great local family and if you are not local, you should definitely come from the highway and go to Ferdinand. You will not regret it!!! It is my favorite place to eat when I come to Ferdinand to visit family.
I only had Beef Briskit. Delicacies Have BBQ Chicken and Pork Links ate, they are also very good. All meats were always tender, the sides are good.
Eat it first. We talked to cars a little and he asked me to burn a tire for him when I left. I had to force the man.
We ate lunch at the Homestead Sunday. It was well worth the drive from petersburg. Delicious food and friendly service.
We got 2 adult portions plates carry out. Good size portions. I got smoked chicken ???? and green beans with macaroni n cheese. My fiancé got bbq sandwich and sides. The sauces are delicious. Tender meats. Prices are fair enough. I can’t speak to the actual restaurant itself we got carry out and my fiancé picked up the food for us. Staff friendly and helpful when ordering. Our dog was in hog Heaven with the leftovers ???? I’m so glad our area has a restaurant with bbq again. We get tired of driving to Owensboro to get our bbq fix. Lol.
