Whistling Sparrow

Noticed it had just opened and dropped in for dinner with my wife. Lots of variety in the menu and drink options. A limited wine list but reasonable prices. Enjoyed the fish taco and sampling plates. Helpful staff, two main courses, a shared dessert, two coffees and a bottle of (good) wine for less than $100. There’s a lot to like in that.

What a gem! I really enjoyed my lunch at Whistling Sparrow. Staff are attentive and friendly, prompt service and delicious food. Very cute little golf course decor on the table.

So glad this place came up on Google! The food was so incredible that I forgot to take a photo and staff are very accommodating. Coffee is nice and hot. Only issue was the fact that they had a table of 20 people and it took 40 mins for coffee and an hour after that for the food. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you.

Visited the Whistling Sparrow with my family for the first time as we recently moved into the area and loved the experience! We ordered their signature sparrows big breakfast two which was food coma! Highly recommend as it’s the best of sweet and savoury. We also ordered their French toast and the bread was moist and delicious with superb presentation and the Portuguese baked eggs were delicious. Service was friendly and coffee was the best we’ve had in the area, Our new local!

Made reservations for dinner as a group of 6 and was greeted by name at arrival. Nice touch! Nice music and ambience with cool velvet chairs, The staff gave us recommendations on shared entrees and also mains, Few gluten intolerant people in the group and they had alot of options to choose from. Place busy on a friday night. Food presentation nice and tasty, good coffee too!
