Nice to be back here again! I always satisfied because all the dishes are amazing! totally in love with this modern korean restaurant! Grilled king prawn with creamy sauce drizzled with honey roasted teriyaki on top IS MY FAVOURITE!!!

Rguably the signature dish at Seven Lanterns, these grilled prawns were so popular that they were renamed THE Prawn $22, 2pcs). And they were a hit. The huge, plump prawns were butterflied and grilled until the sweetness of the flesh took on the rich smokiness of the flames, the shell all but falling apart, and then topped with a creamy emulsion and a drizzle of teriyaki sauce. It’s like an Asian twist on the indulgent flavours of mornay, and I especially appreciated how the sauced managed to be flavoursome without overwhelming the delicacy of the seafood.

Actual rating: 4.5/5 I got the 7 course set menu which allowed us to choose 1 of 2 desserts blueberry cheesecake or sticky date pudding . Most of the food was excellent, my favourite being the “fish tacos”. Only the last two dishes prior to dessert were slightly lacklustre and took on a more home-y meal type of feel compared to the fancier dishes prior. Service was nice in that the boss ? teaches you how to eat the meal correctly and jokes around. Overall, definitely a place to check out!

Love this place. Amazing food with a perfect location to enjoy it in. Nice atmosphere and good variety of food and drinks to choose from. I love the way they cook their food and the presentation tops it off. Its a nice calm restaurant and staff are quite friendly

Food and service was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience (including my kids). We chose the 7 course degustation and loved every bite. The black ink calamari was very special too, my girls really enjoyed that dish. David is a wonderful host, super friendly, very passionate and made us feel at home. See you again soon.
