Fantastic service and the freshest sushi around! Every meal leaves us with fully bellies and big smiles!

The takoyaki were crispy and golden on the outside, and the octopus filling inside piping hot and gooey and delicious...the chicken katsune was wonderful as well. Lovely staff and reasonable prices in an elegant, pared-back space ...Bluesy rock and roll music was playing the night we visited, which may sound an odd choice for a Japanese restaurant, but for some reason it perfectly complemented the food and the minimalist surroundings.

The best japanese food i ever had in sydney (i mean, locally this place is amazing for us). Food was great, staffs were friendly and the place is homie. We ordered 1 set of unagi don (great portion, including eel rice, miso soup and salmon sashimi) for 28$. Takoyaki is great, too. Could have ordered warm sake but, the meal was great. Highly recommended

Creamy salmon sashimi. Nice flavour of the seaweed and rice. Cosy and dishes were presented nicely.

My favourite place to eat, honestly. I have been eating at Mifune with my partner since it first opened just over a year ago and we go almost weekly. The service is lovely. The staff always greet us with a warm smile like we are family. The food is always so yummy and delicious. I get cravings for the food there all the time. If I could eat there everyday I would. : Plus I enjoy supporting a local small business.
