On a warm summery evening, we decided to dine at Hurricane’s Grill at Brighton Le Sands. We were given a table near the window, overlooking the water – it was a great spot to see the sun set and watch people swimming and walking along the beach. Hurricanes Grill is a perfect place to celebrate special occasions or to catch up with a large group of friends. We came to the Brighton Le Sands branch with booking and had to wait around 20 minutes because it was packed. The service was extremely prompt and professional, plus the restaurant has a beautiful beach view, so I guess it made up for the waiting time. I always order their specialty here, aka the ribs. I find the pork ribs to be more tender than the beef ones, but I enjoyed both versions. They are smoky, full of flavour, and delicious. Just make sure to order a salad as side dishes so that you won't feel sick of eating too much meat. Other than ribs, other items are just okay. The pork knuckle and chilli lemon squid tasted alright. I ordered steak one time and didn't think it was extraordinary. Therefore I'd stick to the ribs.
Cannot believe that I have been missing out on such good food for this long! Visited Hurricane’s Grill Bar in Brighton-Le-Sands recently and was totally flawed by the stunning views, the great service and delicious meals here.<br/ <br/ There’s no better way to start off a massive feast than with flash grilled scallops on sweet potato puree, Mexican butter and a dash of lemon juice. Scallops tasted fresh and were melt-in-your-mouth soft. Highly recommend as an entrée to your main course.<br/ <br/ Feeling a little cheeky? Try the braised beef cheek which is served on mashed potato and drizzled with truffle oil. The meat was juicy and the mash was silky smooth. Meat was a little over seasoned for my taste.<br/ <br/ Had never tried a pumpkin ravioli before so was curious to see what this would look and taste like. Really vibrant orange colour with green to contrast, this dish looked super enticing. Filling was quite dense which made the dish very filling. I think some freshness or sweetness was needed to cut through the heaviness of this dish.<br/ <br/ Rocket, pear and blue cheese salad was a great accompaniment to the other plates. This was my<br/ First time trying blue cheese and I actually didn’t mind it! The way I would describe it is a very strong cheddar cheese. Really liked the poached pears but needed to be poached for longer as they were still quite firm.<br/ <br/ To finish the meal, I had the Hurricane’s Grill Belgian Waffles. Loved how decadent the dessert was and that it was big enough to share between two. I also liked how there the choice of having either berry could or chocolate with the waffles. A great way to finish the meal!<br/ <br/ If you'd like to read more of my reviews, please check out my zomato page and visit @cynthiaeats_ on Instagram for more photos!<br/ <br/ My thanks to Hurricane’s Grill Bar Brighton-Le-Sands and Food Shot for the invite!

For starters, we ordered garlic prawns and mushroom bruschetta. We loved the creativity of the sauteéd mushrooms and goat’s curd being the star of this bruschetta, along with cherry tomatoes and basil pesto and served on sourdough bread. We also enjoyed the garlic prawns, and the flavoured garlic oil was so delicious with the mini baguette that it was served with!
This place is amazing! Sitting just by the sea, people could enjoy views and meals at the same time. The space is also enough for parties. The most important—food is good too. We had pork and beef ribs both that day and they were delicious. But to be honest beef ribs were more juicy and had more meat on the bone. The chips impressed me a lot as well, worth a try when you order. It’s a good match with ribs.
My favourite place for some juicy, tender pork ribs! Their BBQ glaze is to die for! Came here on a Saturday afternoon and the staff was accommodating. Food is great, view of the beach was awesome. There is indoor and balcony seating too and is a great place for groups and family. Ordered: 1Kg Pork Ribs, Mushroom Bruschetta, Lychee Mint Freeze and the Tropical Jolly.
