My final shout-out from my Aussie Night Markets adventures in Mona Vale goes to Brazilian Flame BBQ. While I’d actually already discovered their bricks and mortar store in Zetland, that didn’t stop me from craving their crazy-good Picanha Roll $16). While it’s one of the pricier market eats, rest assured you’ll be getting a solid smoky, beef hit for your spend. Cooked on a rotisserie, the beef rump cap is moist and t... View all feedback.
What Christian O doesn't like about Brazilian Flame:
Horrible, no flavour, pork was dry, rump. cap was like eating a leather shoe, coleslaw was basically raw cabbage, best thing was the mayonnaise, very disappointed View all feedback.
We stumbled upon Brazilian Flame Meats and Barbeque after one our many visits to the fantastical Slurp Slurp around the corner. Half the shop is a butcher and the other half sells BBQ. We noticed the roasted meats are only forty bucks a kilo, which insanely good. By comparison the long gone American BBQ joint in our neighbourhood charged over a hundred dollars a kilo, for lesser cuts of meat too.
WOAH! This place is incredible! Not only is the service of high standard with super friendly staff, but the food is AMAZING! They have a range of different combos you can choose from and these include your choice of meat, salad, chips and Feijoda! Our favourites were the chicken and lamb!! These were cooked to perfection and soo flavourful and tender! The marinade of these meats were the BEST I have ever tasted and loved every bite of it! The lamb was super tender and cut through like butter!! It was served on a bed of their amazing cripsy seasoned chips which was the perfect accompaniment to this heart meal! The pork was also super delicious! Perfectly crispy skin and melt in your mouth tender!! Now.. their secret sauce is INSANEE! Its slightly spicy, creamy and flavourful! The flavour of the sauce is soo good I can’t even explain it!! The Feijoda is also a traditional Brazilian meal which is a black bean stew filled with chorizo, spek, smoked ribs, aged beef and rice/cassava flour! This was actually AMAZING!! The flavour was really good and perfectly salty! Combined with the rice and the meats, its to die for!! Something simple like that tasted unbelievably good! (highly recommend) Lastly, we tried out their coxinha which was perfectly crumbed and fried! This was filled with chicken and potato and was a highlight of the meal as well!! It had soo much flavour and the creamy mashed potato on the inside was DELICIOUS!! We highly recommend you guys check this place out! The meats are soo good and flavourful and we couldn’t get enough of it!! Thank you to the brazilian flame team for their hospitality and generosity! We loved every but of the experience! <br/

While it’s one of the pricier market eats, rest assured you’ll be getting a solid smoky, beef hit for your spend. Cooked on a rotisserie, the beef rump cap is moist and tender, and super-tasty from having been basted in its own fat. It’s smothered with the same epically good, house-smoked mayonnaise that keeps me returning to their Zetland store to buy more. It’s the kind of eat that...
What a surprise this place was! Whenever I drove by this place, it always seemed like there were people eating here. So I decided to give it a crack. I sure am glad that I did. I got the 'Flame BBQ loaded fries ' which is 150g of your choice of BBQ meats (I got chicken and beef) plus chips, with flamed smoked mayo on top all for $12. Got a can of coke which was $2.50. I was so hungry before the meal and wasn 't sure if it would fill me up. After I finished the meal I was stuffed! The quality of the meat was amazing. Juicy tender chicken and the beef tasted great with that little bit of fat on it. Great service. Will definitely be back again and again! Highly recommended.
Brazilian Flame does food trucks and catering but has now opened a store opposite the Rosebery Hotel. It’s mostly meant for takeaway but has some outside tables and now opens to 10pm so is better for dinner than when it first opened. The food might be a bit expensive $15 for rolls and $18 $20 for full meals but the meat is great much more tender beef than I’ve typically found in Brazilian places along with good beans, rice and salad. The feijoada (now only sold on weekends) was a relative disappointment good chunks of various meat but a distinct lack of flavour compared to other feijoada I’ve had in Sydney.
