Amazing experience .. authentic Egyptian place with delicious food; value for money and very friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.
It’s impossible to cook now because we’ve packed our kitchen as we’re moving so Christmas this year would’ve been without all the yummy Egyptian food however I found this restaurant called Base and Bowel that also makes Egyptian food in burwood which meant the kids and us didn’t miss out on molokheya, bamya, fatta, fish, om Ali and lots of other goodies. The owner Adel is the kindest man ever and even delivered it to me even though he doesn’t do delivery to my area because of our situation. I highly recommend you try or if anyone wants to try Egyptian food then send them his way. Such good quality, delicious, authentic home made food. Merry Christmas

What an experience! The food was prepared to perfection, my entire family absolutely enjoyed all the dishes. Highly recommend.
