However, the service was exceptional, with staff being attentive and friendly, which deserves full praise with a five-star rating. The atmosphere of the place was also delightful, providing a lovely setting that made the experience more enjoyable. Overall, while the food did not meet expectations, the excellent service and charming atmosphere may warrant a visit for a different meal.

Additionally, they offer many fun items for gifts and delightful treats for yourself. However, our recent visit was a bit different in terms of drink selection; they no longer had our all-time favorite apple cider, and there was no raspberry lemonade available either. They also didn’t provide straws or cup lids, which made it a bit challenging for the kids. That said, the food still tasted great, and the service remained excellent. We also appreciate the availability of board games for the kids to play both inside and outside. In the winter, the fire adds a lovely cozy vibe to the place.

The restaurant was remarkably clean, and the catfish portions were generous and perfectly cooked. The salads we ordered were of a much better quality compared to other locations we've been to. However, the highlight of our visit was Gerry, our server. She was exceptionally kind and attentive. While the food is important, it’s the customer service that really makes us return to a place. I strongly recommend this Cracker Barrel. Thank you, Gerry!

I’m rating this visit 3 out of 5 stars because I see potential for improvement. I will definitely be back, especially for the pancakes, which were excellent, and to experience the warm hospitality of our waitress. I look forward to writing a more positive review on my next visit!

If I hadn't been excited about the gifts I was buying, I would have left and saved myself over $300, in addition to what I spent the night before on dinner. Before I left, I felt compelled to share some thoughts about professionalism with that manager. His behavior is likely to drive away many customers, which could lead to significant losses for the company.
