The Dining Room At Eganridge Resort

First I booked Nov 2 nd before menu established and it was advertised at $95pp charged $100pp because I couldn’t provide proof even though it’s on this reservation as total $570 for 6. Before we had a chance to order a drink they brought soup and put it on top of the menu which we didn’t even had a chance to read. Staff was friendly but seemed very green and confused . Steak cannot be cooked differently other than “medium rare “which made some order fish instead. Weird. 2 people ordered Cesar both couldn’t drink it because it was terrible. When mentioned to server- reply sorry about that no resolution offered. Luckily we had good group and were able to overlook most of it. Our last experience there was exceptional this time not even close. Still had a good time and thank you to staff that had to work on New Year’s.

The quality of the food was very pleasing, we did feel that the level of seasonings was a little too high for our tastes and to be honest I did hear the same comment from other patrons. The atmosphere and service was outstanding.

The dinner was fantastic, with all five courses being delicious! However, it did feel like there was an overwhelming amount of food. Considering that most of the guests were seniors, it might have been better to offer a choice between soup and salad.

We had a wonderful Christmas dinner! The only thing that could improve the experience is having more staff. Thank you!

Overall, it was a lovely experience! We were seated by the window in the wingback chairs, which was pleasant; however, I found the chairs quite uncomfortable as they dug into the back of my legs. I couldn't rest my feet comfortably on the floor.
