Slices N' Scoops - Fenelon Falls

Great location across from the locks. Many selections of ice cream and really good pizza too. They have a patio and there are benches overlooking the lock if you prefer. Right in the heart of town this really is a super spot for a treat. We stop for pizza and ice cream whenever the grandkids visit and they really look forward to it. So do we.

Staff is friendly, efficient and fast. Scoops of ice cream are much larger than you expect. Nice outside sitting area.

Tried Slice N' Scoops for a quick lunch as it was so close to the locks by the falls. You have to line up to be served by students who looked so disinterested in their jobs, huge lines and the pizza wasn't anything special. Won't visit here again. At least they had a very good selection of Kawartha Dairy ice cream, so all wasn't wasted. You can eat on their patio or take-out and sit next to the boat locks and watch the action.

Very good selection, we had cookie dough and some chocolate cones so good! I would recommend this place every visit to Fenlon falls

I went to this restaurant with my family and 5 other family for the long weekend, On ordering our lunch we were being told that the wait would be around 30 to 45 minutes and just to place our order we had to wait in line for a good 15 to 20 minutes. While we were waiting for our food, one of the family member took out some water bottles and passed it on to the kids to drink as they were hungry and it was a long wait for the food, we also had snacks with us but did not want to eat it in a restaurant where we had ordered our food. A older gentleman( I presume it is the owner) came out and asked us to not drink outside water. We explained to him that we had ordered our food and was waiting for our food and the kids were hungry and the water was just to distract them, but he did not listen and asked us to take our water off the premises. He also had the audacity to call us cheap. Finally we agreed not to drink the water on the patio. As we waited for our food, he stood at the door way for at least 15 minutes watching us to make sure that we did not drink any water. I was really disappointed with the treatment that we got and made me feel as if we are stealing. Its not that we did not buy anything from the store. Our whole group had totally spent more that $100-/ on our order and we were planning to buy ice creams after our lunch but with that kind of attitude from the owner/manager, we went to the pie shack for the ice creams. I have a feeling that this kind of attitude towards my family members was because we were Asians. I would say though the staff there was really nice and polite except for the older gentleman. I guess he did not want to do any business with people of coloured skin.
