The number that was given to me from booking.com and the hotel itself did not allow me to complete the check in process. I'm standing on the side of a mountain with no phone connectivity so writing an email for help was not possible. I called the number given but it was an automatic message in German that I could not understand. There was no live agent available at all. I had to leave before it was dark to find another location after paying fully for this room. When I finally settled into a room in Schopfheim at around 10:20pm that same evening, I got a message from customer service apologizing for not getting back to me sooner. I guess the 24/7 customer service claim just isn't very 24/7 or just not in a row

One downside is there's no per... read more Nice spot to stay for a night or two. We went to Feldbergpassage hike and choose this spot as next day we could go to other side. One downside is there's no person on site to contact for. I think it was Lidl which was about 7 mins drive and had few essentials packed up. Spent a two night with my family.

There is an acute risk of repetition! PS we got home well!
