We are new to Feilding and every Tuesday night we try somewhere new for dinner. Murray 's was our first. It was OK, but we waited the longest time for our food (45+ minutes for basic burgers). Staff were OK but no one checked in with us as we sat waiting for an age. Pricing was OK. We compared it to our old regular in one of NZ 's biggest cities that only cost $5 more but for bigger portions, better taste and better... View all feedback.

Been a few times now for lunch. The food is great!! Service not so much. Waited sooo long and when i politely asked, got rude remark from staff member. Then she proceeded to tidy the bar b4 following up. View all feedback.

This has become my all-time favorite restaurant! It's wonderfully Irish, and the food is fantastic. I had the Chicken Waldorf salad, and the coffee was excellent—actually hot, which is rare these days. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restrooms were impeccably clean. I can't wait to visit again!
It's wonderful to be able to return for lunch on a Monday, especially since many places seem closed on that day now. The lunch menu offers great value, with generous portion sizes for the price. Our food arrived quickly, and the staff were friendly and attentive. My husband had the beer-battered gurnard, and he found the quality of the fish to be much better than what you typically get at a fish and chips shop. I ordered the Pork Hawker roll, which was also good, and I really enjoyed the pickled red onion as well.
I recently watched the all-blacks rugby World Cup final here, and the place was packed. The service was friendly and welcoming, which was a plus. However, I did have a disappointing experience with my order of mince on toast (served on a type of sour bread). While it was tasty, I was surprised to find only one piece of toast topped with the mince and eggs. The portion size felt more fitting for a high-end restaurant, presented beautifully on an oversized plate, rather than what I would expect from an Irish pub. Unfortunately, I left after the game feeling unsatisfied.
One of the Best places in Feilding these days for a meal out and great value for money. Being a Lover of seafood I got the seafood platter (which is a shared entree platter normally as my main and I couldn't finish it was jam packed with delectable morsels a good helping of Fries and Aoili! So yummy!
This place is a gem. Went here for dinner and was not disappointed. Great atmosphere and the walls were covered in interesting history and memorabilia. The food was excellent and at a reasonable price. The staff were professional and friendly. A must for anyone looking for a new place to dine.

I love the inviting and laid-back vibe at Murray's. They have an excellent variety of food and drinks. It tends to get quite crowded, so it's a good idea to make a reservation if you're planning to dine there.
If you typically steer clear of pubs for lunch, reconsider and try Murray's—you won’t regret it. The $15 lunch menu is tough to beat. We enjoyed quick service, fantastic food, and drinks that are reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be returning.
We absolutely loved our experience there! A lovely lady served us at our table and offered great suggestions for drinks and food. Our meals arrived quickly and were delicious. Thank you for making my night memorable!
Meal was very average, definitely need to put more effort into presentation eg.nicer salad, better dressings and condiments. Service was good but disappointed we were put on a table out the back, while the table that had been reserved for us was inside. Apparently other patrons were sitting at that table and did not move when asked to do so. We spent the evening having to tell the male patrons the toilet near our table was for females and their one was through another area. The signage was not obvious and too small.
What great place for a function We had 17 of us on a Sunday for a wedding anniversary and we loved it. Thanks to the staff for your great work and to the cooks for the good luch food. Couldn't fault it.
