We're lucky to live not far from Fecamp so have the opportunity to eat at the Barbican regularly. I'm always surprised at how good the food is here. Surprised because after every visit I come away thinking it can't get any better. But, it does. The chef/owner there, Tony certainly knows how to prepare, cool and present his dishes. As well as his knowledge I love his innovation such as "smoked mussels". The service is superb to with Quenten running front of house. It's small and intimate with being overtly cramped. Booking is essential as they're always full and happily it the local people who eat there. Give a go, you will be disappointed.

On the strength of TA reviews we booked here for our first evening in Fecamp before we left home and were so glad we did - After our first experience we immediately booked for two more evenings.Despite the limited menu we always found something different to enjoy, and that without even sampling Tony's renowned "fish and chips," which looked excellent and was clearly popular with other diners. Everything was freshly prepared with attention to detail in both presentation and flavours. I have never tasted better and fresher mackerel than I did here.We also appreciated Sarah's part in creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, where we easily got talking to our neighbours. The emphasis here is clearly on providing high quality fresh food and brilliant value rather than cutting corners and maximising profits.Excellent!
