I have been going to Formosa for years and always have had a lovely experience with their food's taste, portion size, and everything. Since I like a quiet atmosphere, the atmosphere suits me well if I dine in. They have done a remodeling job in the last year that has made it look much more modern and clean. What Sav Creative doesn't like about Formosa:
I don't want to say the food was slop quality but it was horrendous. The meat was stringy and chewy in my entree, with a slimy quality. I ate none of it and politely asked that it be taken back. My husband lost his appetite when he saw mine. Of 4 items ordered, we ate 1. They refused to comp the food we refused, and charged us $35 for what amounted to half-decent crab rangoon. Will never ever eat there again. View all feedback.
We had the kindest lady care for us. She kept our drinks filled, checked on us often, and was so nice and pleasant! The food was prepared quickly and was absolutely delicious. We look forward to our next date out at Formosa!
The best Chinese food in town, the best atmosphere in town and the best service in town period also the best price in
I’m originally from California and I think I’d found the best Chinese restaurant in NWA. Had the beef and veggie dish for lunch and they used the right pieces of beef that I’m used to eating back home. The hot and sour soup was dead on and makes me miss Cali. They also have authentic Chinese dishes if you looking for something different or originality.
Wow! Ordering food from the traditional Chinese portion of the menu is amazing. The spicy chicken is amazing! The beef stew was fantastic.
The new interior is a nice atmosphere and the food is fantastic. I'll definitely be back and definitely recommend. Perfect if you like traditional Chinese.
