We wou... read more We had an amazing experience at Silvè this evening, 9/15/23. The food was incredible, the service was outstanding and it was an overall great experience. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and look forward to returning. We left feeling stuffed after countless rounds of food and couldn’t have picked a better restaurant to finish off our Italy honeymoon.

On a cute street corner, with hom... read more It’s hard to review this restaurant in the usual way. Was it good food? Great service? Absolutely. Was the ambiance enjoyable? On a cute street corner, with homey decor, candles, and old Italian tunes playing on vinyl, yes of course. But the thing about Silve is that it really is a show wherein you have just arrived at a dear friends house and their Mama has been cooking and is ready to serve you the most comforting Italian meal. The whole thing was kind of magical and a little bit like a drug trip, but so fun and so delicious. The food was simple and yet mesmerizing and the host was hilariously eccentric and energetic in a way where you just have to let it happen. Most memorable experience of our trip, hope we can return one day in the future.

Toge... read more Cucina povera at its finest. You may say at first that Silvestro puts a bit too much effort in welcoming the gustes, but that's his energy and positivenes. Together with his mom, Maria, cooked dishes offer a memorable experience. It is more than the food itself, it's about culture and a feeling of being part of a family's lunch or dinner. Yes, it's simple food, but great quality ingredients, and don't measure by the money you spend, cause then you are missing the point.

Silvé and Maria cannot do enough for you, you feel like part of their family and every detail is perfection,. When you dream of dining in Italy, this is the place you imagine. BUT make sure you book, it is a small restaurant, I would hate to miss out just because we didn’t book in good time. We can’t wait to return, to be with our friends
