The pizza and fritta (like an American calzone were both very good. The price point was very reasonable for the food quality. We may go again before we leave :

T... read more My wife and I had dinner here whilst staying at borgo egnazia. We had seen how full it was the previous evening and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. They only serve pizza (and a few fried starters which were a little bland and probably best avoided however this is not a problem as the pizzas are fantastic. The best we have had on this trip to Italy (which has been 3 weeks long and involved a lot of pizza! The atmosphere is wonderful, sitting outside by the waterfront, and is chaotic in a wonderful Italian way. There was a massive queue to get in at 830 (mainly locals so they must be doing something right! Two pizzas, some mixed starters, two bottles of water and three large glasses of red wine came to €39. Less than half the price of a similar meal at borgo egnazia! We are here for another week and will be returning.
