Camping Sarathei - Farra d'alpago

We were guests at the Sarathei camping so we thought we have a try at the restaurant. Please note that for best tables or table at all you better book as we didn't and we were therefore placed outside the perimeter of the restaurant gazebo.... and from that moment on we had to get weitress attention otherwise busy with guests that had booked. A part from that when the food arrived it was lovely and tasty. Thumbs up

Convenient place to eat and of surprising quality (can only vouch for pizza) considering on a camp site. To me, reasonably priced as well. Pizza pint of beer ca 10 euro

Really very curious to hear the advertisement for a special dinner on the radio and found info about the event on the restaurant web site [hidden link] : Cena Alpagota dinner with local delicacies from Alpago . I must post the menu ... Starters : snails polenta maize flour , baked bread with roe deer pâté, deer carpaccio, dried beef, fallow deer and mouflon salami, ricotta cheese and very mature cheese with balsamic vinegar. Main course : tagliolini thin pasta with lamb from Alpago sauce. Second course : stew roe deer, breaded lamb, grilled wild boar chops. Side dishes : Italian chicory with lard, maize flour local rough corn , local beans and mushrooms. Dessert : elder rhubard mousse. Coffee. Wines : Teroldego Rotaliano Gaierhof and Pinot Noir Kellerei Terlan . One glass ? No ... actually for two people we were served one bottle for each variety of wine ! The quality of the food : excellent. Impeccable service and ... smiles ! Informal environment ... but what it matters to me is the exclusivity of the dishes and the mastery of the chef. Finally the essence of a culinary experience : and here you can get it ! Our dinner was accompanied by Lino and his live music. This was our first time in this restaurant within the camping which is opened since April till the end of September. They do also organize dinners with special tasting of sea fish. Have to be back ... for sure. Oh ... sorry ... I forgot ... the price for the dinner was a little bit more of the price for the two bottles of wine !!!

Beautiful camping, but I don't put the fifth star because I don't like the location of the restaurant that is right in front of the bathrooms, so when you go to wash your teeth you have the kitchen side by side, walk in front of the customers of the restaurant when you go to the shower bath to wash the dishes, to me of the camping as the freedom to stay in costume or in slippers and pass in front of the customers restaurant clothing gave me a little

Camping quiet, to have few good stars choice. adjacent lake, good services and very friendly staff. .d to return
