they will not find fresher meeresfruits in faro. requisit to the big oysters. it is a cozy and cute restaurant, the prices are quite reasonable. the personal is very nice and attentive. it is directly at the faro pier, so it is a great place to eat between boat trips in the ria formosa at midday. What User doesn't like about Vivmar:
Prices reasonable, fish and gamba's delicious and actually a fare amount of vegetables on the plate. But for god sake, if there's such a thing as a parasite replacing a fish-tongue (there is), please take the fuckerbug out because it looks disgusting and feels like I'm in an Alien movie. Luckely my son, who knew about this freakish thing, pointed it out áfter lunch...We'll I am wiser now and will ask for headless fis... View all feedback.
There is everything fresh! seafood and fish. the personal is very nice! the prices are very friendly!
Great seafood, fresh and home cooked. The owner is exceptional and great company. We had a very nice evening by the sea.

Very nice lunch experience. The food was fresh, simple, tasty and delicious. The staff was very nice and friendly. They gave us advice about amount of food to order, and what shells and fish to take. We tried mixed seafood platter that was excellent and grilled red sea bass that was really nice. The house and bottled wine was good. The place is situated near the sea, in the quite part. The prices were very reasonable. Nice place to visit.
Had a good experience. Had attentive service and good seating outdoors. Granted this was December/low season so probably wasn't going to run into the same troubles as the other reviewers. Good traditional Portuguese seafood at fair prices.
