We had requested cheese prior to our booking, as we don’t eat desserts. This was agreed via email. We ordered a starter to share to allow room for this. Then we were advised there was no cheese, as ‘it was too expensive’, ‘it was too hot’, ‘it wasn’t on the menu’. We are not tourists, we live in Portugal very near. So we know these were just excuses. What a delightful evening we spent here, lovely setting with fabulous well presented tasty food. Totally recommend.
Wat prachtig gelegen restaurant met een uitstekende chef en zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. Wat voel je je welkom! Daarbij goddelijk lekker eten. Wanneer wij in de Algarve zijn moeten we langs Vincent en Helma om heerlijk te eten. Tot de volgende keer!
We have been there before for lunch.Eight of us were invited for a Birthday Dinner. Even though we are in these difficult times, everything was great.The lady of the house and the guy who served us were lovely.The ambience, food and service was outstanding.

Every visit in le marquis was a very nice experience. eating is very well prepared, the atmosphere is relaxed.
