Chocolates Da Beatriz - Faro

We went to where Beatriz makes the chocolate in Odemira and it was the most magical experience. Perched up in the lush green hills of the small town of Odemira, we walked into the most delicious cacao scented workshop, chocolates and ceramics displayed beautifully in front of where the patrons were in the process of making the goods. They were happy to talk us through all the wonderful flavours classic and unusual. We bought a few truffles, a packaged selection, cold cacao and some incredible coffee chocolate almond gluten free torte. And enjoyed all this on a peaceful veranda outside. It may not be the location in faro, but I would eat this chocolate anywhere it’s absolutely divine. Not to be missed!

Wow! What an amazing find this was. We just happened to walk by this place on our way to have a drink with a friend and we changed plans as soon as we walked in. *This* was where we were going to meet. Man, I'm so glad we did! Now we come here a lot and love it every time. They have some very nice menu options where you pick a drink and 3 types of the amazing little chocolates they have for only a few bucks and there's a LOT of goodness to choose from here... Make your life better and visit this place, you won't regret it :

Lovely little shop with a range of chocolates. I bought crystallised orange (dark chocolate) and orange segments (milk chocolate). Both were full of flavour. However the segments were exceptional and wish I’d bought more of them! Well worth a visit!

Little place hidden ready to be explored. Chocolates of your choice and a drink £3.70. You won’t be disappointed. A must when coming to faro ... enjoy

Not big but with plenty to tempt you. They have very good drink and chocolate combinations, including wine. We tried a selection of chocolates, all of which were delicious. My husband enjoyed his coffee but my hot chocolate was a little underwhelming. The lady working there is very lovely and doing a grand job all on her own.
