My husband and daughters took me out for my 66th birthday lunch at this restaurant today. I wish I could give more stars!!! We were greeted by the wonderful Jo, who made us feel like VIPs. She went above and beyond to make our experience special. The two young waitresses were polite, efficient, and well-managed. The food was a 10/10 - perfectly presented and incredibly flavorful. Everything was served hot and we were given just the right amount of time between courses. My family brought a birthday cake, which was brought out with the waitresses singing and other tables joining in. I felt truly special. This was one of the best birthday meal experiences I've ever had. Well done to everyone involved. We will definitely be returning.

The food was excellent, with a good selection of winter real ales. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was great. The recommended dishes are the Roast Beef and Steak. There is plenty of parking available, with a free parking lot option. Overall, a fantastic place for a dinner meal, costing around £20-30 per person.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. We dined in for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The cost per person is between £40-50. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 5 out of 5. The steak dishes come highly recommended. There is plenty of parking available, with options for free parking in a lot or on the street.

Visited for lunch during up to 50% menu. Nice setting by the river. We enjoyed 3 courses. The food was good, we all sampled each others. The only thing I would return for was the fish and chips, the batter was lovely and light.
