Bittersweet Cafe - Farmington

Delicious fresh local foods, unique sandwiches, tasty desserts, specialty teas and coffees, excellent service and inviting atmospere. We highly recommend this delightful cafe tucked away in the Laurel Highlands.

We really enjoyed our meal here BUT. We waited an hour and a half to get it. Perhaps we had bad timing and came after a morning rush. It would have been fine if we could sit and have a coffee or smoothie while waiting, but this place is counter service, so waiting means standing in line. Nonetheless, the food was very good. Nothing exceptional, but solidly good. Because we had so long to wait, I started paying more attention to everything on the walls and the music. All

Great place all around! Nice selection of specialty cold and hot drinks, sandwiches and desserts. Cute gifts/souvenirs for purchase. Relaxing outdoor seating.

This restaurant offers fantastic food. Unfortunately, my mom and I arrived just as the morning rush was winding down, and we ended up waiting two hours from the moment we joined the line until we finally got to eat. It was quite frustrating! We were so hungry that we didn’t even take pictures of the delicious dishes. However, I did snap a few photos of a very thin cat that I tried to share some of my waffle whipped cream with. He really enjoyed it! Also, this was the first time I was served genuine maple syrup.

This restaurant was fantastic! The atmosphere was delightful, and I really enjoyed dining outside amidst the beautiful plants and flowers. My kids described it as if they were eating in the middle of an enchanted garden! It was our first time at Bittersweet Cafe, and my children rated it with two thumbs up and ten stars each! They are already eager to return again tomorrow! We're definitely planning to visit this wonderful spot again the next time we’re in the area. We highly recommend it!
