Reviews - Broaster
Reviews summary
The restaurant seems to have received mixed reviews from customers. While some were disappointed with the quality of the food, others praised the delicious chicken and other items on the menu. Some customers mentioned that the food felt off or made them sick, while others enjoyed the crispy chicken and flavorful fish and shrimp. The prices were also mentioned positively as being reasonable. However, there were complaints about the lack of butter on rolls, soggy food, and the need to sign receipts in a drive-thru, which some felt was outdated. Despite the mixed reviews, the restaurant has a loyal customer base who appreciate the old-school charm and welcoming atmosphere of the building and dining room.

Great spot for boiled chicken and more. I ordered the 4-piece dinner, which was delicious but quite pricey. They also offer a family-sized meal, and it was cooked to perfection. The restaurant has a good delivery area and a drive-through. I wish I lived closer because I’d definitely come by whenever I’m in the mood. View all feedback.
What Bortolo Neri dislikes about Broaster:
It was great 10 years ago. just got it the other day, soggy chicken, dry buns. The masked potatoes are still great. Not sure what happened or if management changed View all feedback.

I always loved this place when I lived in town, so when I came back for a visit I was excited to come back for my favorites. I was really disappointed to be honest. I got a wheat roll with barely any butter- which isn't what they used to offer- it wasalways white with plenty of butter. The coleslaw was still fantastic. The shrimp were a little soggy and cold, and the totswere just ok. I really disliked the tiny sour tartar sauce they offer. Very hard to dip in, and even though I asked for extra, there was only 2 total and wasn't really enough for 9 shrimp. I also hated the fact that in this age of technology, we stillhave to sign our name on a receipt on a clipboard in a drive through. That felt really 80's. After eating, I felt sick to mystomach- which is odd because I usually have an iron stomach. I wonder if maybe the tartar sauce was bad or something. I guessit's a good thing I don't live around here anymore.
I was told to come here for the chicken. I expected it to be amazing based on what I had heard from a coworker. I ordered two pieces of chicken, one piece of fish, and shrimp. The chicken was very juicy and crispy. The flavor was amazing. The fish andshrimp was good too. I was impressed with the prices and quality of food. Very good food and the price is right! ??

The broasted chicken here is the best I've ever had, and the customer service is fantastic!
The chicken is consistently fresh and juicy—there's nothing that compares to it anywhere else, thanks to their unique cooking technique. Personally, I think they have the best battered shrimp around! As for kid-friendliness, they offer more than just chicken strips; there are cheeseburgers and a variety of à la carte options for kids to choose from.

Great place for a chilled chicken and other things. I got the 4-piece dinner and it was delicious and very nicely expensive. We also have the family size dead and they were made perfection. You have a dining area and a ride through. I wish I lived closer. Every time I was in the mood for chicken, it would be.
I always loved this place when I lived in the city, so when I came back for a visit, I was excited to come back for my favorites. I was really disappointed to be honest. I have a whistle with hardly any butter that is not what they had to offer. it was always white with a lot of butter. the koleslawin was still fantastic. the garnels were a little soggy and cold, and the sheets were just okay. I liked the tiny acidic tartaric acid sauce they offer. very hard to immerse, and even though I asked for extra, there were only 2 overall and was not really enough for 9 garnels. I also hated the fact that in this time of technology we still have to write our name on a quitting on an interlayer in a car. that really felt 80s. after eating, I felt sick at my liking, which is strange, because I really like an iron in it. I wonder if the tartaric acid sauce was bad or something. I guess it's good I don't live here anymore.
